The members of the Centre Regional Development Council (RDC) met today, 17 May 2016, in a regular meeting where they decided which projects will be selected for the Phase II of the Call for Project Proposals III. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Centre RDC, Eleonora Graur, who welcomed the members of the Council and urged them to collaborate effectively with all structures involved in the New Call for Project Proposals.
The Minister of Regional Development and Construction, Vasile Bitca, present at the event, congratulated the representatives of the Centre Region for the responsible activity and prompt mobilization showed so that 147 concept notes were submitted at the Tender of Project Proposals funded by the National Regional Development Fund 2017-2020. “Our work today is very important because in the today’s meeting you, as members of the Centre RDC, will vote the Concept Notes of the projects to be admitted to the next phase of the National Tender of Project Proposals. The best projects of those that we will admit today in the phase II of the Tender will be implemented over the next 4 years. I wish you success and I urge you to cooperate efficiently so that we can enjoy together the beautiful results”, the MRDC representative added.
Eduard Ungureanu, Director of the Centre RDA, said that the work of the Agency aims growth and development of the Centre Region: “The year 2016 started promisingly, this Tender of projects strengthens our beliefs that we will achieve success in the coming years through successful implementation of regional development projects submitted by you”.
After hearing the Concept Note Evaluation Report, the RDC members proceeded to debates and discussion on the report. The threshold limit of the Phase II was voted and made up 30 points for the following fields:
- Rehabilitation of Local and Regional Roads – 21
- Improvement of Water Supply and Sewage System -13
- Regional Development of Integrated Solid Waste Management Systems -6
- Increasing Energy Efficiency of Public Buildings and Services -11
- Development of the Tourism Potential of the Region – 18;
- and 20 accumulated points after evaluation by the commission for the field of Development of Regional Economy and Diversification of Business Infrastructure – 11.
Following discussions the list of the Concept Notes selected for the second phase of the Tender of Project Projects, funded by the National Regional Development Fund, was approved.
Below is the list of the Concept Notes approved by the Centre RDC to be admitted to the second phase of the Tender. In the period 17 May – 22 May 2016 at the Centre RDA complaints may be filed on the score offered by the Tender Commission to verify once against the Concept Notes. After verifying the complaints received, the final list of the projects admitted to the Phase II of the Tender will be published on 24 May.
The meeting was deliberative and attended by 38 of the 52 members of the 13 Rayons of the Centre Region.
We remind that Tender of Project Proposals was declared open for the period 15 March – 3 May this year. By the end of the first phase, 147 of Concept Notes were submitted to the Centre RDA. Their examination by the Administrative Commission and their approval at the meeting of the RDC is followed by the PHASE TWO, at which complete applications for funding will be developed and submitted.
