On 1 June 2014 CRAION CONTACT-Cahul and campaign partners for ‘Quality Water in Your Locality’ organized a special event dedicated to International Children’s Day. The good fairy, clowns, CONTACT-Cahul volunteers and talented children in the rayon, brought maximum intensity to the event.
The partner institutions in the campaign identified as well special prizes owners from these institutions- German Development Cooperation through GIZ, Regional Development Agency South, and General Consulate of Cahul, Cahul Rayon Council, the City of Cahul, Cahul Public Health Centre, ‘Apa-Canal-Cahul’, and Cahul-CONTACT Center.
Thus, RDA South awarded the authors of three drawings, who were representatives from each age bracket. The prize for ‘the most active Town Hall’ was awarded to the Mayor’s Office from the village of Colibași.
The event was highlighted by the great spectacle offered by the singer Adrian Ursu.
The event from 1 June in Cahul was successful because it allowed the successful merging of activities to promote the purpose and message of the campaign, by stimulating interest and participation of children to understand local issues and to acquire ecological norms of behaviour; through positive emotions and pleasant memories that will remain in the memory of children, young people and adults that participated in the event.
