Nisporeni Local Steering Committee on Energy Efficiency segment was convened in the second ordinary meeting yesterday, 1 October, within Nisporeni Rayon Council.
Viorica Spataru, manager of the project ‘Improving energy efficiency in Nisporeni rayon hospital’ informed the committee members about the developed activities within the project so far.
Also within this meeting it was discussed and approved the change of structure of the permanent members of LSC. Thus, the President of Nisporeni rayon, Ion Artene was appointed as LSC chairman and interim director of PMSI Nisporeni RH Galina Gonta was appointed as deputy president of LSC.
It follows for Centre RDA to initiate the procurement procedure for drafting technical design of ‘Reconstruction of ventilation and air conditioning system with heat recovery’ of Nisporeni rayon hospital.
The meeting was attended by Valerian Binzaru, head of the Directorate General for Regional Development of the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction, representatives of the Ministry of Health, Centre RDA, LPA Level II, Nisporeni hospital, German Development Cooperation through GIZ and NGO from Nisporeni rayon.
While implementing the MLPS project, GIZ and its partners: the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction, Councils and Regional Development Agencies have selected seven pilot projects in three priority sectors: water supply and sanitation (WSS), solid waste management (SWM) and energy efficiency in public buildings (EE) to be implemented by RDAs, with technical and financial support from GIZ Moldova.
