Today, 29 March 2018 the workshop on the engagement of regional civil society organisations in organising awareness raising campaigns is taking place. The event is carried out under the ‘Modernisation of Local Public Services in the Republic of Moldova’ Project, implemented by the German Development Cooperation through GIZ. The workshop is attended by representatives of civil society organisations, MLPS/GIZ short-term experts in the field of civil society engagement and MLPS/GIZ advisors.

The event aims to provide guidance on the elements and next steps for organisation of awareness raising campaigns, as well as, to simulate baseline surveys as a first step.
The seminar is moderated by Bettina Fackelmann, MLPS/GIZ expert for the engagement of civil society in information and awareness raising.

Also, during the event, a special attention will be paid to dialogue communication, principles and instruments of awareness raising campaigns, methodology for focus groups on how to make a questionnaire for carrying out a baseline survey on satisfaction and current understanding of projects implemented in the regions in Water Supply and Sanitation (WSS) and Energy Efficiency (EE) in public buildings sectors, etc. The workshop is interactive, involving group work and case studies.
