Sector Working Group members met in the 3rd workshop on Local and Regional Road infrastructure in Centre Development Region.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction, Centre Regional Development Agency, the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure (MTRI), State Road Administration (SRA), regional sector working group members (Rayon Councils, Roads maintenance companies), MLPS, experts offered by the German Development Cooperation through GIZ and other participants.

During today’s workshop was discussed Chapter 3 of the Regional Sector Programme (RSP) on the desired sector development level until 2018 – 2020, including presentation, definition and approval of national and regional objectives in the RLR. Also, those present within a practical exercise formulated the development vision in the RLR until 2020.

The experts attending the meeting stressed on the potential risks and their impact on road sector.

We would like to recall that Regional Sector Programming in Regional and Local Road infrastructure is a participatory process for planning and programming capacity building in Centre Development Region, which will ensure the development of investment projects.
