On 4 December, Christina Otto, manager of ‚Modernization of Local Public Services in the Republic of Moldova’ (MLPS) project implemented by the German Development Cooperation through GIZ together with Dietrich Hahn, international senior advisor and Petru Veverita, national senior advisor paid North RDA a working visit. During the meeting with the director and heads of departments of North RDA, MLPS project representatives talked about joint activities for the next period. 

Vitalii Povonschii, North RDA director thanked the MLPS project team for the constantly provided support in the implementation of several regional development projects.  ‚Water supply and sanitation projects and those of energy efficiency in the public buildings are very important for us, people in the regions, as they aim to improve the standard of living. Thank you for the support provided by you since the beginning of our institution’s activity, including via the regional advisors working at North RDA’, mentioned the director Vitalii Povonschii.

Currently, North RDA implements four projects related to the improvement of water supply and sanitation and two projects related to energy efficiency financed by the European Union in cooperation with the ‚Modernization of Local Public Services in the Republic of Moldova’ project, implemented by the German Cooperation through GIZ in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment and financially supported by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Swedish Government, the Romanian Government and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
