Experience exchange in the field of human resources management at SC APAVITAL SA water utility operator Training Centre from Iasi, Romania

On 30 October – 1 November 2018, at SC APAVITAL SA water utility operator Training Centre from Iasi, Romania an experience exchange was organised in the field of human resources management. The event was attended by 50 participants, human resources specialists and legal practitioners of water supply and sanitation utilities operators – members of AMAC.  

The goal of experience exchange is strengthening and development of capacities related to human resources management specific for water supply and sanitation services via access to state-of-art theories, concepts, models and techniques necessary to manage efficiently the work of water supply and sanitation utilities as well as getting acquainted with European experience in this respect.

The objectives of the experience exchange were the highlighting of  the  human resources management department as part of water supply and sanitation services operators; acquaintance with strategic planning of human resources as part of water supply and sanitation services operators;  acquaintance with recruitment and selection of human resources as part of water supply and sanitation services operators;  acquaintance with the process of assessing professional performance of human resources as part of water supply and sanitation services operators; acquaintance with the carrying out of staff professional development process.

This event was organised with the financial support of SDC-ADA Project ‘Strengthening of institutional frameworks in the water supply and sanitation sector in the Republic of Moldova (phase 1)’ and the ‘Modernization of Local Public Services in the Republic of Moldova’ (MLPS) project, implemented by the German Development Cooperation through GIZ in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment of the Republic of Moldova and supported financially by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the European Union, the Romanian Government, the Swedish Government and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
