On 20-21 March the Academy of Public Administration is carrying out the training course on Management of Public Property, a measure supported by the ‘Modernization of Local Public Services in the Republic of Moldova’ (MLPS) project implemented by the German Development Cooperation through GIZ. This is a professional development course aimed at accountants of local public authorities – partners of MLPS project.

The objective of the ‘Management of public property’ course is the updating, improvement and strengthening of participants’ knowledge in terms of registration, management and administration of assets acquired, constructed or improved using financial resources provided by GIZ, National Fund for Regional Development or other sources and diversifying the toolbox used in the good administration of public assets. The course programme includes subjects on assets, public property, accounts of public property assets, administration of public property, etc.

The course was developed with GIZ experts’ support and is carried out by the teaching staff of the Academy of Public Administration, trainers from the Institute of Urban Development, Agency of Public Property, which use  andragogical methods contributing to the shaping of participants’ skills to put into practice the new knowledge in the field of management of public property.
