The German Development Cooperation through GIZ is looking for a Senior National Energy Efficiency Expert (leading expert) to support the development of the Program on improving energy efficiency and the Action Plan on energy efficiency for Calarasi Rayon within its “Modernisation of Local Public Services” project.

The main tasks to be performed are:

  •     Outlining the objectives of the Program on improving energy efficiency and the action plan for Calarasi Rayon in accordance with the National Strategies, Policies and Legal framework regulating the Strategic Planning Process;
  •     Support the Rayon Energy Manager in communication with the EEA and uploading the data on the website www.geoportal.md;
  •     Support the Rayon Energy Manager and the local working group in processing of the data collected;
  •     Facilitating meetings and workshops within the process of elaboration.

Required qualifications:

  •     University Degree in energy / or heating supply and ventilation, building services engineering;
  •     At least 3 years’ experience in developing of energy programs and action plans, benchmarking studies, and other documents specific to energy efficiency and use of renewable energy sources;
  •     Abilities to work in a team, good communication and negotiation skills, capacities to draft and develop the documentation in the field;
  •     Excellent proven skills in analysis, leadership and overall diplomatic skills.
