The team of the Ministry of Regional Development and Constructions (MRDC) and three Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) participated during 14 to 15 November 2014 at a training session on internal and external communication. The exercise was facilitated and financially supported by the German Development Cooperation through GIZ, via the project ‚Modernization of Local Public Services in the Republic of Moldova’.

The training focused on formulating messages for citizens, businesses, journalists, so that they are accurate, attractive and easy to understand. Course participants were trained to write milestones for speeches, media interviews, they identified news subjects and have learned how to promote policies and projects they work on every day.

‚Communication trainings provide interpersonal knowledge and detailed analysis of our institutional goals. We will insist with such trainings, as to develop communication skills of employees’ says the Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Construction, Anatolie Zolotcov.

Since 2012, GIZ has facilitated annual conduction of a training course dedicated to internal and external communication. Through such training sessions, GIZ project aims to capacity building of its partners – Ministry of Regional Development and Constructions and Regional Development Agencies – to coordinate and monitor the process of regional development. Thus, we need an effective system of communication, both internally and externally.
