Ministry of Regional Development and Construction (MRDC) and the Academy of Public Administration (APA) benefit from the consultancy services of two experts in international cooperation and coordination of external assistance. They were employed through the International Center for Migration and Development (CIM). CIM represents GIZ tool to promote human resources within the German development cooperation.

Thus, International relations and investment attraction Department of MRDC will be assisted by Ulrich Kleppmann. His mission is to contribute to the strengthening of cooperation with international partners active in the sector and initiate new collaborations. Accordingly, the expert will be involved in the work of the Sector Council in the area of external assistance, authorized to programing and sector monitoring of projects and programmes. Also, because of the specific activities of the Department, will help record international treaties concluded by the ministry, including the negotiation and implementation thereof and provide support in advising and consulting certain policy documents on international relations.

The expert who was hired for the Academy of Public Administration is Wolfgang Sender. His objective is to ensure organizational development of the institution in order to increase its efficiency and to review the curriculum of the Academy. The expert will focus on cooperation with international donors and European partners in order for the Academy to become a key institution in the region in the areas of professional development for civil servants.

CIM support mechanism proved effective in 75 states where there are deployed over 800 senior experts.

MRDC and APA are partners of the project ‘Modernization of local public services in the Republic of Moldova’, implemented by the German Development Cooperation through GIZ in which benefit from technical assistance.
