4th Ordinary Meeting of the Regional Working Group (RWG) on providing support to the private sector.
Under the Modernization of Local Public Services in Moldova project, the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction in cooperation with the South Regional Development Agency (South RDA) and the German Development Cooperation through GIZ are implementing the sub-component on ‘Complementary Private Sector Support’ aimed at supporting private sector representatives.
In this context, today, 25 March 2015, the fourth meeting of the Regional Working Group (RWG) was convened and attended by representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova, South RDA specialists, GIZ consultants and an international expert.
During the meeting, RWG members noted the activities undertaken during the first quarter of 2015 under the ‘Complementary Private Sector Support’ component. All activities planned for this period were determined as successfully completed. The action plan for the second quarter of 2015 was also presented and approved, including the organization of a training module and of a regional roundtable for capacity development of private sector representatives. Additionally, RWG members have decided on the concept and topics of forthcoming seminars, which will contribute to strengthening the public procurement capacities of private sector representatives from the South region.
