The specialists from the project management Section (PMS) of the RDA Center undertook a clarification visit to the project “Improvement of integrated solid waste management in Soldanesti, Rezina and Floresti rayons”. The meeting was attended by several advisers of the German Development Cooperation through GIZ, the mayor of Soldanesti city, the Director of Water supply provider of Soldanesti (Regia – Apa Soldanesti), the designer and local project coordinator.
During the visit it was discussed the approval of the baling and sorting line location procured under the project and putting it into operation. There have been proposed several venues for the location of the baling and sorting line, to finally decide on the arrangement of the hall within the Office of the Water supply provider Soldanesti. Following days the bill of expenditure will be updated and developed the technological Regulation for operation of the sorting station.
Subsequently, a meeting will be organized with the State Ecological Inspectorate to discuss the possibility of this option’s approval. In case the arrangement of the hall within the Office of the Water supply provider Soldanesti will not be approved by the State Ecological Inspectorate, the construction of the baling station will be done on a land allocated by the mayor’s office of Soldanesti.
Within the same meeting there were discussed the responsibilities of parties involved in initiating the collection of waste process.
