On 3-4 April 2018, 18 representatives of official institutions took part in a Training for Trainers. They acquired new knowledge and learned new practices regarding management of energy efficiency in public buildings projects. The module ‘Management of Energy Efficiency in public buildings projects’ is organised by the Centre of Continuous Training in the field of Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings (CCT EEPB) with the support of the ‘Modernization of Local Public Services in the Republic of Moldova’ project, implemented by the German Development Cooperation through GIZ.
Representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment, Regional Development Agencies, Regional Development Councils, Agency for Energy Efficiency and of local public administration are the beneficiaries of this course.
The goal of the training is to provide the participants with knowledge on the need to promote energy efficiency and renewable energies in public buildings. During the course, also, the methods to reduce the impact of energy consumption on the environment were discussed and main elements of the policy and legislation of the European Union and the Republic of Moldova in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energies in public buildings were presented.
During two days of training, the trainers shared with the participants the technical aspects of energy efficiency projects, funding sources and instruments, ensuring sustainability of the projects, political and legal framework in the field, impact of energy consumption on the environment, organisational measures for efficient energy consumption in buildings and many other aspects related to energy efficiency.
