Members of the working group for public procurement under the ‘Improvement of water supply and sanitation services in Drochia town’ project approved on 21 August, several amendments to the contract on design service for development of technical design concerning the rehabilitation and extension of water supply systems in Drochia town (Lot NA2).
The working group examined and approved the technical recommendations of GIZ Construction Department. As a result of amendments’ approval, the contracting authority will change the volume of works for the design services contract no. 112 from 23.04.2018 by increasing the length of the water networks with 1.162 m. Additionally, the working group decided that the rehabilitated water networks do not require technical expertise as they shall be fully rehabilitated. In this case, the economic operator executing the design will submit a bid only for additional works.
The project „Improvement of water supply and sewage services in Drochia town‘ is financed by the European Union in cooperation with the ‘Modernization of Local Public Services in the Republic of Moldova’ project implemented by the German Development Cooperation through GIZ in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment and North RDA and financially supported by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), Swedish Government, Romanian Government and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
