The Ministry of Regional Development and Construction (MRDC) and the German Development Cooperation through GIZ (GIZ) identified projects to be implemented this year with the German Government support. During an official meeting at MRDC held today, Marcel Raducan, Minister of Regional Development and Construction and Philipp Johannsen, GIZ country representative, discussed about the time when the works under projects will begin.

Marcel Răducan, Minister of Regional Development and Construction, stressed that thanks to effective collaboration with GIZ and the team efforts of MRDC, citizens would benefit from quality services and improved living conditions.

During the discussions, the officials listed the priorities of activities for this year and established the main actions in implementation of projects.

At the same time, the officials expressed the belief that experience gained in implementation of projects and the strengthened team would enhance the timely performance of planned works and would help improve the welfare of the citizens of Moldova.

It should be noted that in 2014 the German government will support the implementation of pilot projects in construction and rehabilitation of water supply and sanitation systems, energy efficiency in public buildings and solid waste management.
